WHO ARE WE???

So I was lead to this book by some family friends of mine. This book blew my mind! There is some much in it that really has gotten my faith new in perspective. This book broke the chains of my "religious" conception of God and the Trinity. My eyes have been opened to a whole new way of thinking about God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The thing that blew my mind the most was the over emphasis on the fact that God will come find us! WHO ARE WE to have the creator of the universe seek us out and never stop???? This idea of love has me on my heels still! I finished the book about 2 weeks ago and still cannot stop thinking about it and the things that happened in it. Its a great fast read and I suggest it to all, Christians and not! Experience God and His majesty through the eyes of a mere mortal.

Crush an Egg with your Hand

Funny Story. I told my roommate that it was impossible to crush an egg in your hand. He thought I was playing with him so he challenged me to do it. I took an egg put it in my hand and started trying to crush the egg. For about 10 seconds the egg resisted the pressure but then somehow I placed too much force on the egg with my thumb and it burst open splattering all over my roommate. After the moments of laughter subsided I began to wonder how it happen. I researched on the internet and found how one is supposed to hold the egg without it breaking. So we tried again. This time not me or my roommate could break the egg.. Try this for yourself but be sure you do it outside or away from electronics:)

Need Some Suggestions.. Please Help!!!

So I am debating whether or not to theme my blog or create another one with a set theme to write on.... Let me know what you think and what themes I could seriously write on!!! Please dont just read then see me in out crossing paths and tell me.. Really think about it and let me know!! Some of you know me well and things i could really write on.. Some of you dont and could really offer up some really good random suggestions!! Please HELP!!! Help me make up my mind!!!

Shaved my Head...

It was around 90 degrees he in socal yesterday and I had a profound revelation as far as how to stay cool. Thus I decided to shave my head. I took a clipper and my roommate and I went to work! So now I have shorter hair and I love it so far. I dont have to do my hair in the morning, well its not like I did it before but it doesnt get messy anymore. I stay much cooler. I have fun running my hands through my hair! Ii thought I would just let you guys know that my long locks are gone for a while I am enjoying my short hair!
