Spring Break and Tests before Spring Break

So its spring break now but my "rights of passage" to enter my glorious 10 day vacation was a upper division English test. Survey of American Literature II is the class, 12:20 PM was the test time on Friday the 14th. I cant believe the amount of information we were to study for the 50 minute test with 10 questions and an essay. Why please tell me why a teacher would put a test on the day before Spring Break when the minds of young college students are not thinking about the test that is so monumental that it counts for 1/3 of our grade. Instead we are thinking about the beach, playing video games, and being lazy with NO SCHOOL commitments at all! So here i start my spring break with the chip on my shoulder that I may not have done as well on my test as i would have liked to. So teachers if you stumble upon this blog and read my words (please don't grade it) take heed to the cry out of a student who is asking.. nay.. pleading with you to not do tests the day before a break!
