Organizing my iTunes

So I was rocking my most recent jam the other day, Bleed America by Jimmy Eat World, and I noticed that my iTunes library was so messy. While the beats were flowing my enjoyment level of the song began to decline rapidly. I am the type of person who needs to be organized, or feel organized at least. I have a hard time doing homework in a dirty room, or even focusing in general to do anything. I started browsing through my library and noticed how many weird genres I had, like Folk/Dance, or Electronic Rap. Stronger by Kanye West which has a techno beat laid for Kanye to "flow" on was the single song in my Electronic Rap genre. Why? Why would someone in there right mind categorize something to that genre? It doesn't exist, but it did on my computer.

I then took my attention off my music lists to my playlists. I have so many playlist titled as such, "@@@@AWESOME MIX". The reason for the "@" was to force it to the top of the lists for easy access. This frustrated me even more. So i decided then and there to mount a campaign against the clutter and mess of my iTunes library. As a result of this campaign I have completed around 75% of the organization and basic ratings of all my songs in my iTunes. I have taken my library down by nearly 8 GB of music or approximately 1,250 songs. This is a good thing, I am much happier now that I have mounted up and dominated some of my iTunes problem. It is not finished but it soon will be and I am encouraging you to get on top of your music's organization before it is too late! I have an eMac at home and it is so far past the point of organization that I will never try to clean it up. So please help your computer and your mind and clean up your music!!

The City Lives CHECK EM OUT!

This is my roommates older brothers friends band. Can you follow that one?? haha But hey I have been listening to this band for like a week straight now and I am loving them! You should really check them out! here is there myspace link! This band has a nice blend of the indie music movement with there own little twist. I really enjoy there vocals and the have some seriously awesome guitar riffs. They blend there instruments together very well and I think you will all be able to appreciate it! So give them a try!  They have a full album titled American Kids out and you can buy it on iTunes, I did:) Some good are Knives, For God and Country, Missing the Point, Rabbit Hole. My favorites are Run for the Hills, and Where Oceans Never Sleep. There whole album is awesome though. So give them a listen I don't think you will be disappointed... Over and out.

End of School = STRESS STRESS STRESS

Readers!!! You may have noticed I have recently gone astray from my usual ranting and raving over certain issues in my life and things I see. Well have no fear I am back to express my deepest thoughts and emotions yet again in desperate hope that by me writing them down I can either lift a large burden off my shoulders as far as my resentment towards an issue or just let someone know, "Hey I am in the same place you are!"

So my issue today pertains to the issues of the end of the school year. I was in my class yesterday (For the record: Management Based on Biblical Principles is the worst class I have ever taken and all I do is blog and surf the web in class sorry again mom and dad I know thats not what you wanted to hear) and I was powering through all of my syllabi. (I love that plural form I don't care if it isn't correct I am using it because it is bomb.com!) Sorry for all the interjections.. anywho I was looking through all of my finals and papers and projects I have due and OMG (thats stands for "oh my gosh" or "God" but I cant say that) I have so much due. My life seems to be filling up with homework and tests and studying, not Halo and WOW and sleep. Now hear me out I am not saying I have more than you or that mine is by any means harder than yours or even hard in general. But just the fact that I have like 15 things due in the next 3 weeks makes me want to curl up in the fetal in the corner of my room and weep. So my shoulders are heavy and my burden is large but this is school and we must constantly deal with these issues in life.  It only gets harder from here.... BOOOOO life..... BOO.... 

So.... Let me know how much work you have to do for your classes!!!??? Just leave a comment I am interested to see who has the most...
